A solution has been figured out, thanks for pointing this. For now, a nice workaround to this is to just be sure to LOOK at the achievements when you load a game before unlocking a new achievement.

Hey Douba!

By the way, after starting a new game, the options menu says "load game" instead of "restore game" - is there any difference?

Besides the word being changed, none whatsoever. Do rate the game if you've bought it from Steam or GOG, and link us or tell us about your thoughts anywhere, here is included, we'd love to hear from you.

I'm not sure if it's available elsewhere for those that buy the game in high quality. It's also on iTunes, but I don't use iTunes so i'm not aware if it offers high-quality stuff.

Hey fuyutzuki,

Concerning the issue you've encountered I've been working on it, but due to limitations of the engine concerning non-latin paths in general, it appears that there's no way over this.

However, given the situation and the fact that I am willing to help you experience the game in a much fair way, perhaps I can at least set the game where you've reached, so you don't find yourself doing the same things over and over again.

Unfortunately there's no other solution I can think of.

They're actually quite related. Basically the game accidentally picks up a hidden character, the "floater" and runs that interaction, when it clearly shouldn't. Marvelous catch.

Hey fuyutzuki, i've no idea what the problem is perhaps it has to do with the japanese language of your Windows. AGSSave.999 is a temporary file that AGS uses to keep the state of the game, none of anyone's concern. agssave.001 is the "auto" save. If opening the load ui doesn't show at least the auto, then there's a problem.

If anything, I'd be glad to make you a custom version of the game where it sets the restart point instead of using saves, as it appears to have an issue there. Still not allowing multiple savegames, but at least making sure you can save and load your progress.

Apart from that option, your only other way is to make sure the path to the savegames is in latin characters. If your windows username is in kanji, then that's it.

Savegames will always work between versions of primordia unless said so.

Well, this achievement is a bit of a troll indeed. "Shell/s" is not the only entry that cannot be triggered, same goes for Council Tower, as it will unfortunately always trigger Robot Council instead, and will never trigger with just Tower.

Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck's Revenge. Because frankly adventure games never looked so good. I felt depressed finishing that game. It has that summer mood like no other game.
