Resonance / Re: problem with the keyboard layout on Debian
« on: September 04, 2016, 03:08:50 PM »
This is a really late reply, I-m sorry... I`m italian too and I had the same problem, but switching to an US layout keyboard solved it...maybe you weren`t pressing the right key?

I killed them both too, but I was thining about killing Danton next time. I think it would be the most "dramatic" decision. Imagining Shardlight as a movie, I prefer a dark ending.

Chit Chat! / Re: About the resolution of the games.
« on: September 02, 2016, 02:32:57 PM »
So, altogether, I probably prefer this resolution which is now considered low because it's a step back to a style of graphics which was abandoned in favor of things which, in my opinion, looked much worse.

I think that to us (users) THIS is the main reason why low resolution is a good way to go for Wadjet Eye,  I assume it's a matter of heart and nostalgia.
Although I can suffer photo and 3D graphics, it just depends on the game really (I've recently played "The dark eye: Memoria" and I found it awesome despite its graphic).

Hope Wadjet Eye won't move into the 2000s!

Chit Chat! / Re: Do you have a "Forever" game?
« on: September 02, 2016, 02:21:46 PM »
Although I like adventure games the most, my "forever games" are strategy and managerial ones, so I'd say

-Heroes of Might and Magic III
-Banished (though relatively new)
-Zeus
-Theme hospital (though I've never finished it)
-The sims 2 (or 3, I really don't remember)

It really sounds fun! Unfortunatly, there's nothing similar here..

(I just realised this thread is 6 months old).

I know this answer won't satisfy you, since it'll be really concise, but bestowers and spirit guides have presumably been on the earth since it's been created (or soon after, anyway).
We can suppose that Madeline has been the only deviant spirit guide, so it isn't that easy to 'seclude' a spirit guide in the universe. We can resoneably hope it won't happen again.

And I assume that new spirit guides have been chosen soon after the vortex (since people die every minute). We really don't know how it works with guides; the only thing we know is that Joey was an exception. So maybe they receive a special training somewhere. Maybe they are chosen with care by the universe itself.
Luckily, nothing is said about this in the games, so we are left with a void we can fill how we like (unless Gilbert decides to reveal us the secret of the universe).

In conclusion, I don't see the future as black as you. Anyway you maybe right, I don't deny it, but probabily Rosangela didn't see as far as you. And this could lead to a distopic future in a new Wadjet Eye game XD

Sorry, I wasn't that brief.
And please, forgive ally mistakes, I can never remember english grammar and I'm too lazy to check!

I write my name on the invisible list of people willing to buy a limited physical edition of the whole Blackwell series  :)
