Title: Crash in restaurant
Post by: grin on May 26, 2015, 04:18:11 PM
Hi there

Enjoying Technobabylon and just encountered my first crash in the restaurant, when showing the bomber note to the defunct Stepford in the kitchen.

On a side note: your anti-spam measures are really off-putting. Worse than a porn site, actually.

Could I ask what measures you are referring to? We have a captcha and some easy security questions. It's fairly standard.

(and this forum does get spam-attacked quite frequently. A lots of spam still gets through which I have to delete manually!)

Well, you're rather stretching it with "fairly standard". Standard would be a registration process with captcha and activation link, and that's it. Registered users shouldn't have to bother with three additional input fields everytime before they can post something.

The captcha letters are rather difficult to decipher for me, although my eyesight is not bad. The two random questions might be considered common knowledge, but once I got this "name of the blue ghost" question. I knew the answer, because by chance I played all the Blackwell games, but seriously? I want to post and get on with my life, not play quiz.

Believe me, I only bothered with this form again, because you asked so nicely.

I don't get captcha everytime I post something.
