Title: Question about Making Videos with your games (Let's Plays)
Post by: Miggel16 on April 06, 2015, 04:54:40 AM
Well, I think it's better to ask it here in the forums than in an email, because it could interest other people, too.
So I wanted to make Let's Plays about the whole Blackwell Series, but before I do that I have to ask: Is that ok? I know it's something different, but I saw one guy uploading the whole soundtrack of the games to YouTube and getting banned for it. So do I have to fear the same for doing Let's Plays or does it only inflict uploading the soundtrack ? Well, I saw other people doing Let's Plays of it, but I want to be sure about it. :)

It's totally fine! There was a brief time when we sold our soundtracks via another company, and they (unbeknown to us!) registered the music with YouTube's Content ID system. That's been fixed. So it should be safe, now.
